As far as we know this is the first Long Island wine available through the PLCB, and it's a good one. This Pinot Blanc from the Lieb family in Mattituck is dry, crisp and clean with a long mineral finish. We had it with pork but could definitely see this pairing with oysters and seafood.
Thanks to the PLCB's Chairman's Selection program, a good buy at $12.99; about $7-$10 less than it would cost you at the winery.
