Château Les Fromenteaux Muscadet and Fish Tacos

Really lovely Muscadet, perfect with our fish tacos and would be a good summer picnic wine. Sold out now but  look for it in the Moore Brothers special offers.

Domaine Saint Martin Muscadet de Sevre et Maine 2009

This is Muscadet, not to be confused with Muscadelle, Muscadine, Muscat, or Moscato (oh just give me a Pinot Grigio). It's a light dry white wine from the Loire, and it's supoosed to be better if it says "Sevre-et-Maine" as this one does. There's also something about "sur lie" which means the wine was left in contact with the yeast and this is supposed to make it soft and creamy. We'll give it soft, but not creamy. We got star fruit and wet stone. This is supposed to pair well with seafood and we could see that.

Moore Brothers will offer Muscadet every now and then, so this would be good to buy if you want to do a PLCB vs. Moore Brothers taste test.
