These cru Beajolais are great for summertime when you want an easy drinking light red. We picked up the Côte de Brouilly from one of the PLCB online sales and it was an outright steal at $7.99. Paired with Trader Joe's Butternut Squash Triangoli and a persillade sauce. Unfortunately there is none left.
The Fleurie is also good but not nearly as bright and fruity. Paired with a garden burger and watermelon mint and feta salad. Still some scattered about the state.
