Posters at the PAWineTalk web site have noted that prices have been reduced further on what was once called the "Serious Wine Sale" at the PLCB's online site Fine Wine and Good Spirits. Many PAWineTalk contributors are serious wine drinkers/consumers and in general not big fans of the PA state store system. So when they say there are good deals it is usually true.
Many of the best deals seem to be at the high end, with Penfold's Grange 2004 reduced from $496 to $220. That's definitely out of our comfort zone, but we found these two 90+ rated wines reduced from $74 to about $30. There are also many under $10 wines available.
