We once asked a tequila snob what was the best tequila, and they told us Patron Anejo. So that's what we drink, and that's all we had around to compare this to. Anejo is Spanish for old and smooth and expensive, so it's a bit unfair to put it up agains this blanco, which is Spanish for young and boozey with a bit of a bite.
Still, $30 is a good price for this blanco, which comes in a big purple box and makes a fine margarita.
