Drinking this wine simply made us happy. We haven't had anything from the Southern Rhone for a while, and this brought back a lot of good memories and compares favorably with the 2007 vintage.
This PLCB Chairman's Selection is as good or better than any Southern Rhone wine from Garagiste or Moore Brothers at this price point.
Fresh tasting, vibrant fruit, plummy, some herb/spice at the end that matched well with the peppers from the farmer's market.
Looks like there's still a few bottles scattered around Philly, we're going try to score some more.
