This wine is getting rave reviews on PAWineTalk and also 90 points in Wine Spectator, but we found it too purply and plummy for our tastes. The blended grapes include Touriga Nacional, which is the grape for Port. Perhaps Korean barbecue wasn't the best pairing.
At $8.99 it's worth a try if you like wines characterized by dark fruit.
