We've been on something of a quest to find a good pairing for our spicy Ma Po Tofu dish, and this has been one of the best so far. Light and spritzy, we were expecting even less from this white wine from Portugal, so we were pleasantly surprised by the green apple aromatics and crisp but slightly sweet taste. Gazela was recommended by Marnie Old in her Spicy Szechuan episode, and we picked some up on sale last month at the PLCB for $5.99. If it goes on sale again we plan to grab some more.
